Entry 445 - Creativity Block

Yup, exactly as the subject line says. Not only have I not written anything in a while (I'm looking at you, unfinished not-even-halfway-done sequel-sequel), but my RPing is suffering as well. I have three perfectly good characters (one hasn't awakened her powers yet, but all in due time) and I haven't done much with them recently.

Well, all that is going to change. I'm determined to get myself back on track.

Granted, with my work schedule always changing (one day a week? two at most?) and my sleep schedule with it (wtf, up at 5:30 instead of 6? set alarm for 3:30 and hit snooze a few times), I might not be able to do very much, but I can try, right?

Besides, if I'm not doing something productive, I'm either sleeping (which is nice, but fouls up my hours) or eating (which I need to do less of, I weigh much more than I should). So writing is a good way to pass the time.

(That, and I have way too many ideas to just let them sit. Multi-crossovers where anime characters act out games? My mind is a very odd place, let me tell you.)

And to deal with the RP lag, I plan on making a post today. Oh Nikado-sensei, your apprentice strategist is coming to see you~ ♥

Room progress....well, it progresses. Still a lot of cleaning left, but I'm working at it slowly. Pretty soon I'll have space to exercise :)

(Which is also good, because...well, see above, my weight is higher than it should be.)

So here's a question: a friend of mine is having a birthday soon, and I'd like to get him something nifty. Problem is, he has no job and spends his time at home playing videogames. Asking my mom and brother nets me the same answer: "get him a job for his birthday" and they're actually quite serious about it. He says he's tried everywhere, and still nothing.

Anytime we go out to eat, I pay. Shopping? I'm usually shopping for myself anyway.

If I could get him a job, I would. We're not sure if he wants one, though. I'm wondering if just inviting him over for pizza and movies would work.

Also, I have an idea for a full moon ceremony, courtesy of my nifty datebook. A time to wash away the bad habits and start fresh for the new year, in a way. Maybe it will help him out.

(I know I have a lot of bad habits to get rid of, hehe.)

I'll be happy when this month is over. It's been rough, and it seems like it's been long enough.

(Side note: even with all my books, I still crave a library trip sometime. Any of the locals interested?)

So in other news...have I even used most of my icons? I wonder if I've used them all at least once. I know some have been used more than others (...yes, I'm a shipper, what's it to you?), but I really should use the others more. So here you go, folks, an icon to liven things up!

(This icon brought to you by Carlin and her amazing sense of humor. The group has been comparing members to animals, so apparently I get to be a machine gun-toting groundhog. ♥ you)

Now, for a little question: to my readers, what icons should I use more, and which ones would you rather see less of? I'm simply curious. :)

And now, I post this and go compose something for otakusailorwars. Come play with us!
